GardenSpace Automatically Waters and Monitors One's Garden
The daily maintenance and attention to detail that gardening requires makes it hard for some to reap the benefits of growing flowers, fruits or vegetables at home -- which is why GardenSpace, a garden robot that waters, monitors and protects one's plants, is such a helpful tool for those without green thumbs.
The individual can inform the bot of what plants inhabit the garden through a companion app, which connects via one's home WiFi. The app makes a watering schedule based on local weather conditions, ensuring a plant is never over or under watered. The device also features an integrated camera and a thermal sensor, to determine if the plants need more care.
In addition, the cameras and sensors will spray a harmless stream of water if it detects rodents or small animals that are snooping around the garden.
